The immunisation of children who attend Meela will help to limit the spread of infection.
The Meela Child Care Centre requires that a child’s up-to-date immunisation record must be sighted by the Director before enrolment is accepted except where a medical certificate is provided. The Director will take a photo copy of the immunisation status to be kept on file with your child’s enrolment form. Please ensure your child’s immunisation record is kept up to date.
Children who are not immunised will be excluded from care during outbreaks of some infectious diseases in accordance with the National Health & Medical Research Council exclusion guidelines, even if the child is well. This is to limit the spread of infection and protect unimmunised children.
Children who are younger than seven must meet the government’s immunisation requirements or have an approved exemption from the requirements for the family to be eligible for CCB.
